The Chatsworth Business Improvement District (the “B.I.D.”) is a nonprofit municipal corporation
given the authority by local stakeholders in the primary Chatsworth business corridor to assess
themselves in relatively small amounts for local business enhancement projects. Its operations
are run by a community-elected Board of Directors and an Advisory Board appointed by
the local Council office and is renewable yearly at the discretion of the Los Angeles City Council.
