Chatsworth BID Mission
The Chatsworth Business Improvement District (BID) was formed in 1999 to generate support for local businesses through a variety of programs and activities. The BID is a nonprofit municipal corporation given the authority by local stakeholders in the primary Chatsworth business corridor to assess themselves for local business enhancement projects. Its operations are run by a community elected Board of Directors with oversight by an Advisory Board appointed by the local Council office. Each year the BID is renewable at the discretion of the Los Angeles City Council.
Our mission is to continuously improve business conditions within Chatsworth through a set of strategic initiatives including but not limited to security, marketing, beautification, and community involvement with an emphasis on fiscal responsibility and discipline.
